MILTECH 406 is a unique communication grid that combines LAN, USB and serial communication in a single, lightweight, ultra-compact form factor. The MILTECH 406 is a light-weight, fully integrated, adaptable systems that was specifically designed for soldiers of today’s digital battlefield. This unique concept enables delivery and collaboration of intelligence between electronic devices with different physical and logical communication ports, such as navigation systems, battery packs, headsets, warning sensors, video visor for weapons, night vision glasses and other “modern warfare” devices.
Weighing less than 0.5 lbs. and with a form factor of 97mm x 78mm x 25 mm, the small dimensions and light weight design make it an ideal for soldier combat vests. The MILTECH 406 operates on readily available 5VDC power and is designed for MIL-STD-810F, environmental and MIL-STD-461E EMI/RFI compliance for airborne and ground mobile with high reliability. In addition the MILTECH 918 supports Dark Mode operation and many more items necessary for “next gen” warfare.
