Techaya’s MILTECH 5042 Series is a MIL-STD rugged, military-grade communication system for transferring video, serial (RS-422), discrete signals & Gigabit Ethernet over four strands of Tactical Fiber using MIL-D-38999 fiber connector. It is a robust solution for transferring tactical communication signals in applications, such as remote control of guided missile systems, over fiber.
By extending the missile control functionality over a distance of few kilometers over fiber, it provides protection to the operational personal from direct launcher hit/bombing.
This 1U rack-mountable unit is designed to meet MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B airborne, ground mobile environmental and EMI/RFI compliance for high reliability. It comes equipped with the following port configuration:
2 x Composite Video
4 x Serial Data RS422 up to 15Mhz per channel
10 x Isolated DI (Open / GND)
10 x Isolated DO (Open / GND)
5 x managed switched 10/100/1000TX ports
All the signal are transferred over 4 stands of tactical fiber using MIL-D-38999 Connector.
