The MILTECH 914 is an ultra-compact MIL-STD, lightweight, fully managed, board-level Gigabit Ethernet switch featuring 14 x 10/100/1000Mbps ports. This board-level switch is ideal for integrating in to system level solutions being developed with size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) at top of mind Advanced network features, never before found in a package of this size, include switching protocols, virtual LANS (VLANS), traffic prioritization (QoS), and bandwidth aggregation are standard. The MILTECH914’s gigabit speeds and 6-19VDC power make it instantly compatible with any network device and power systems.
The MILTECH 914 is a MIL-STD, fully managed, rugged, board-level Gigabit Ethernet switch. With 14 triple-speed (10/100/1000Mbps) ports, it is conformal coated and has a built in board-to-board connector, so it can be easily integrated as an embedded switch in any hardened OEM communications platform.
The MILTECH 914 combines Layer 3 on-device IPv4 and IPv6 static routing between VLANs, and Layer 2 switching features including traffic prioritization (QoS), and bandwidth aggregation. Security functions, include accounting, authentication and authorization (AAA) via TACACS and/or RADIUS servers. Authorization Levels allow multiple users to have up to 15 different levels of access to switch management to greatly enhance the security of any network.
The MILTECH 914 is part of a family of the industry’s only ruggedized board-level Ethernet switches with industry-leading SWaP-C to save valuable real estate in military and UAV platforms where space and weight are at a premium. With conformal coating, it is designed to withstand working temperatures of -40°C to +85°C and will comply with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD461 when incorporated in a suitable enclosure.
