The MILTECH 912 is a MIL-STD, rugged, managed Layer 2 Ethernet switch with advanced Layer 3 static routing capabilities. With 12 x 10/100/1000 ports divided between two MIL-D-38999 connectors, for mobile platforms such as unmanned and manned airborne platforms, ground and underwater vehicles.
The MILTECH 912 can be remotely managed to deliver Layer 2 switching to optimize on-vehicle communications and prioritize critical information traffic between network devices such as communication and navigation systems and IP-based sensors, video cameras and targeting systems. Layer 3 static routing enables on-device IPv4 and IPv6 static routing between VLANs without having to add a router upstream. This further reduces the amount of equipment, weight, and expenditures on mobile military platforms. The unit was designed for MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B & MIL-STD-704A airborne, ground mobile environmental, EMI/RFI compliance and high reliability
